More and more British holidaymakers are using Facebook to share the details of their trip, Breaking Travel News has reported.
According to a survey of 1,334 18-35 year olds, conducted by Sunshine.co.uk, nine out of 10 people talked about their last holiday on the social networking site before they went away.
61 per cent also said that they had uploaded their holiday snaps to Facebook, with most doing so within four hours of landing back in the UK.
One in 10 couldn’t even wait until they got home, uploading images while they were still overseas, and a quarter admitted to going online and updating their status during their trip.
Sunshine.co.uk co-founder Chris Brown commented, “There’s obviously a fair few eager beavers out there when it comes to holiday snaps and sharing them with their friends and family.
“I think that uploading the images within four hours of landing is very keen, but I suppose when you come home and might have the holiday blues, you want to relive it all again as soon as possible.”
